It has been kind of quiet around here the last week or so. It's getting to be that time of year when things are winding down. There are fewer and fewer races to run but still lots of training to do.
We have revised our training/group runs for the fall. We are no longer meeting on Thursday nights at OxBow Park. Instead, we will now be meeting on Sundays at 2pm at OxBow Park starting on November 14th. Of course we will still be running from the millrace in Goshen at 8:30am on Sundays as well.
I look forward to this time of year because that's when all of the fun begins. With our Sunday afternoon group runs, we will start our Winter Fun Runs once a month. Each month will have a different theme and different distance to run. We will start our first one in December so keep an eye out on our website to see when and what it is.
Also, don't forget that next Sunday is our OxBow Tower 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk. We have just over 200 registered and are looking forward to a great event!
Until next time...happy running!

What a great day...
Thank you to all who helped to make the 2nd Annual Fall Hustle a success this year! We had great weather for our race which is always nice for this time of year. We also had some good competition too.
The race was won by Matt Jones in a time of 17:16, second place was Timothy Liu, and 3rd place was Bill Keller. Our men's master winner was Alberto Jimenez.
On the women's side, Rebecca Liu was 1st place in a time of 22:58, 2nd place was Estela Pedraza, and 3rd place was Shelly Steury. Our women's master winner was Gayle Green.
Hawthorne Elementary was represented by a group of 10 year olds. They all did a great job running their first 5K. Hopefully they will continue on.
All in all, every one of the participants did a great job. We had a turnout of 61 competitors this year. We hope to grow even more next year. Thanks again to all!
If you would like to view race results, they are now posted.

Just a little bit about us if you are not familiar with our running club.
The Two Rivers Running Club was established in the spring of 2009. Our objective is to promote a healthy lifestyle through running and fitness, to help our members achieve their running goals, and to have fun!
We are members of the Road Runners Club of America and are a pending 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Our club has several group runs throughout the week. We also have special events and runs that take place during different times of the year. We sponsor a club race series for men, women and youth. Awards are given at an awards banquet at the end of the year for all participants who meet the minimum qualification of races. All ages and abilities are welcome!
